Kenall joined forces with the USACE, Fort Worth District on the renovation of Building 5570 at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Originally built in 1970 as a 140,000-square-foot dormitory and dining facility, the building had been repurposed over time for office, training, and various other uses. The planned renovations aimed to restore its function as a dormitory, serving as temporary housing for Basic Military Training (BMT) recruits.
Under this contract, Kenall managed overall project management and spearheaded the development of a Design-Build Request for Proposal (RFP). This document outlined all necessary design, construction, and performance requirements to ensure the delivery of a fully functional and useable facility.
