Kenall entered a contract with the USACE, Fort Worth District, to provide architecture and engineering services for the renovation of four Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facilities (TEMFs) at Fort Cavazos, Texas, formerly known as Fort Hood. The project updated the legacy TEMFs to align as closely as possible with current standard designs, improving functionality to support mission requirements and extending their operational lifespan.

Renovation work included sustainable design, CID/SID package development, demolition, site utilities and paving improvements, structural modifications to rearrange the functions areas and capacities for doors, power/data upgrade, overhead cranes and maintenance pits.

Kenall took charge of overall project management under the task order, overseeing various responsibilities. These included coordinating and leading design charrette and review meetings, conducting pre-design activities and site visits, assessing and documenting existing conditions, and offering civil and structural engineering expertise. The team spearheaded the development of design submittals at 35%, 65%, 95%, and 100% completion stages, ensuring quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of all deliverables. Kenall also handled monthly reporting and invoicing, monitored costs and schedules, and addressed bidder inquiries and requests for information (RFIs).
