Kenall was retained by the Galveston Housing Authority to design the conversion of 65 two-story wood-frame residential units, transforming them from non-air-conditioned spaces to centrally heated and air-conditioned residences.
Planning, architectural and engineering design, and construction management services were performed for this project. Renovations were made to accommodate HVAC equipment within the interior spaces, along with updating interior finishes to complement the changes.
