Kenall played a major role, serving as the prime consultant, for the Harris County Toll Road Authority’s one-mile stretch of controlled-access freeway. This vital infrastructure project involved the design and execution of two significant bridges: a 320-foot-long bridge spanning South Post Oak and a 116-foot-long bridge at HCFCD Ditch Unit C-145-00-00.
Their responsibilities included field surveying, utility relocation plans and profiles, roadway design, drainage design using THYSYS, retaining wall design, stormwater pollution prevention planning, and detailed roadway cross-sections. Kenall also managed bridge layout and design with STAAD III, traffic control plans, specification adjustments, quantity summaries, and construction cost estimates. Their expertise and thorough approach helped to manage complex infrastructure challenges and deliver the project successfully.
