Tasked with providing geotechnical engineering services for a new $34 million bypass—spanning 3.5 miles and linking US 190 with LA 1088—Kenall’s investigation and design efforts enhanced safety and accessibility to key locations such as Pelican Park and Fontainebleau State Park. Comprising a two-lane divided roadway, including five bridges and culverts, the project advanced one of the largest roadway projects in St. Tammany Parish history.
Through detailed soil investigations, laboratory testing, and design recommendations for foundations, drainage, and pavement, Kenall turned project challenges into solutions that addressed long-standing traffic concerns in the community.
