Kenall led the architectural design to modernize the science laboratories at Lawrence E. Elkins High School, elevating the learning environment for both students and teachers. This project converted twelve existing science classrooms into six state-of-the-art general science laboratories, an innovative aquatics laboratory, a cutting-edge chemical storage facility, and additional preparation areas. The initiative also included the upgrade of eight existing laboratories, equipping them with the latest digital data networking technologies. Our architectural solutions were designed in compliance with the latest life safety, fire, and ADA requirements.
Kenall provided programming, design, and construction services while managing every aspect of the project, from laboratory casework to digital infrastructure. The team’s efforts ensured that each space was primed for fostering curiosity and innovation, allowing students to explore new advancements in science and technology.
