Kenall provided engineering services to assist the USACE, Fort Worth District in preparing a Design-Build Request for Proposal (DB RFP) for drainage repairs at Robert Gray Army Airfield, located at Fort Cavazos, Texas. The project focused on addressing erosion and sedimentation along taxiways, resolving roadway flooding, upgrading drainage systems to meet 25-year storm event standards, and ensuring compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-260-01.
Key tasks included repairing erosion, restoring or replacing flumes, adjusting utility vaults and manholes, improving drainage infrastructure, correcting grades, and stabilizing disturbed areas. Kenall managed all aspects of the project, including design development, quality control, site assessments, and adherence to budget and schedule requirements, delivering a thorough DB RFP on behalf of the Corps of Engineers.
